FROM THE GCC GREEN TEAM

Two Green Teams will present the next installment in the Environmental Zoom Series about how our food choices impact the environment. We will discuss what we eat, how we purchase it, and what is best to do with the food we don’t eat.

Leading the discussion:

• John Lippert, the city’s Green Team chair
• Jane Young, co-chair of Greenbelt Community Church’s Green Team
• Dr. Luisa Robles, the City of Greenbelt’s Sustainability Coordinator

We will also explore actions that we can all take to lesson our adverse impact on the environment.
