Thanks for Sharing your Gift of the Spirit

The day was set aside to recognize long-term members and celebrate the gifts that each person possesses referring to 1 Corinthians 12:1-13 in the Bible.
Instead of a typical sermon, Interim Minister, Rev. Clara Young, was joined by Pastor Emeritus, Rev. Dan Hamlin, for a conversation about the Holy Spirit working through the church in the past, now in the present, and in the future.
GCCUCC Paster Emeritus Dan Hamlin had a virtual visit with Pat Hand. A dozen members joined the day's events via Zoom video conferencing.
“For 28 years I had the honor to see the gifts of the spirit of those who walked in those doors each Sunday. Although I retired ten years ago the Holy Spirit did not at Greenbelt Community Church,” said Rev. Hamlin. Hamlin shared accounts of church members who brought their unique talents and expertise to the church solving small and large challenges.
