Below are the expectations for those attending service in person. For those continuing to worship with us on Zoom, please scroll to the bottom of this email for changes to Zoom service.
Entrance
- Please be sure to wear your mask and practice social distancing while you are inside the building.
- Please enter through the front doors. All other doors will be locked. For those with mobility issues who need the lift, please call the church office no later than the Thursday prior to service to ensure that assistance is provided.
- Upon entering, bulletins, hearing devices, hand sanitizer, wipes, prayer cards, etc. will be available for you to pick up. Ushers will greet and direct you to your seat.
In the Sanctuary/During Service
- As you enter the pew, you will see white paper in areas where congregants should not sit. Ushers will be available to answer any questions regarding seating.
- Announcements will only be made by the Pastor. For those who have announcements, please email isler2002@gmail.com by Saturday prior to service with your announcement. For those that have an announcement and did not email, note cards and/or a notebook will be available for you to submit your announcement.
- During the responses for the congregation, please remain masked while stating the response.
- Hymns will be printed in the bulletin. Hymn singers will sing aloud. Please remain masked while singing.
- During the passing of the peace, please remain in your pew and wave to each other. Please remember to practice social distancing.
- You may share your prayer request by standing in your pew and calling out your prayer request with your mask on. Prayer cards will be available in the Narthex if you would like to write your prayer request down. If so, please fill out the card, hold it up, and an usher will pick it up and hand it to the minister.
- Offering plates will be located in the Narthex. If you have any offering, please place it in the plate as you ENTER or LEAVE service. The ushers will not be bringing the offering plates around. ***If you prefer, please continue to use your current method for providing monetary gifts to the church.***
After Service
- At the end of service, you may socialize outside the church or downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. If you are going downstairs for social hour, please use the stairs in the Narthex. We highly recommend that those that choose to socialize in the Fellowship Hall be fully vaccinated.
- Pre-packaged snacks and coffee/tea will be available.
- Please remember to practice social distancing and remain masked while you are not actively eating and/or drinking.
Bathrooms
- If you are in need to use the restroom, please go down the stairs near the front door. For those with mobility issues who are in need of the lift, please go through the side door in the Sanctuary near the piano.
Zoom Worship Attendees
- For those worshipping with us on Zoom, there are a few changes to how service will be conducted. One major change is that you will be muted the entire service. Unfortunately, with recording live services, any additional noises may cause the recording to not be usable.
- During the passing of the peace, you are welcome to wave at others on Zoom, but the Zoom Manager will not unmute you.
- Announcements and prayer requests will only be made by the Pastor. For those that have announcements and/or prayer requests, please email me at isler2002@gmail.com by the Saturday before the service. If you have an announcement and/or prayer request and you did not email me, please add it in the chat box.
- At the conclusion of the service, the Zoom meeting will end. No social hour in breakout rooms will occur.
